Studio 1093 Great Musical Artist in a Great Acoustical Space

Music on the Boulevard is a series of curated concert interviews recorded for broadcast before a live audience in Jim Hawkins’ STUDIO 1093, on The Boulevard in the Normaltown neighborhood of musical Athens, Georgia.  These shows are usually recorded on a Sunday afternoon between 4:00 and 6:00 PM and edited into a one hour radio show for broadcast. We take everything possible out of the studio and setup chairs creating a listening room.  It's a great acoustical space, and the musicians don't have to compete with noise from the bar.

In the beginning Music on the Boulevard shows were free, but we have reached a point that our underwriter feels we should charge admission to help with the cost of producing the show.  In an effort to streamline the process of making reservations and keeping up with how many seats are still available, I have created this online store for the distribution of tickets.  As you know, our seating is limited, so when they are gone, they are gone.  If the show you want is sold out, email me, and we can place you on a waiting list.

Music on the Boulevard is underwritten by the generosity of John Zibrida and Zibex, Inc., providing solutions for clean water and supporting good music.  Visit Zibexinc.com, and by Grady Thrasher and Kathy Prescott..
